copying bars?

is there a way to make a song 4 bars take those 4 bars and copy them to the next 4 bars so it's not blank and so that you don't have to recreate them

yes. very basic stuff. find it in your manual.

If you have a 4 bar sequence then you can copy it to a new sequence then make you're alterations to that (select sequence field on the main screen, press Window button, press Copy).

Or if you have an 8 bar (or more) sequence and you want to copy the first 4 bars to the second 4 bars used the Sequence Editor (mode + pad 13 I think).

Possibly the easiest function you'll use.. I suggest you read the manual...


But, just to get you started.. hit Mode + Pad 13.. then click on "bars".. change "last bar" to "4" and "after bar" to "4"... make usre it only one copy..


and hit "do it"..


Thatll take a 4 bar sequence and make it an 8 bar sequence..

Easy stuff.
