Hey can you all tell me or recommend some hardware that I can purchase to track my beats from my mpc and vocals. I tried the cubase thang and its wrecking my brain, I think I would do much better with hardware...let me know what I can get...thanks

theres much simpler tracking software out there...

check out Mutools.com Luna which is a lightweight vst host with integrated audio tracks... i think its great.

yamaha had decent hardware recorders when i worked at GC, but i have never used them myself.

thanks man, i might give that a try, really i was doing fine with cubase SE....i bought the one that comes with the lexicon alpha interface...you know my real problem im having is i dont know how to put the settings back to the way the were...a relative messed my shii up when i was at work and now the cubase isnt recognizing anything...sometimes it does but its madd distorted. I dont know how to fix it and im been trying so im like, i'll just get something else

what sound card hardware do you have? cause its likely that youll have problems with any software if your problem is hardware related.

i dont know everything was cool, until my brah messed with it....

i have cubase le with the lexicon alpha... it think the soundrivers are ASIO2 and Realtek the one that came on the cpu

well i would say unhook everything, uninstall all the drivers and stuff and reinstall them according to the instructions. and lock your computer when you leave. (windows key + L)
