if u are how do u have it in sync w/ the mpc 2500????

i would like the mpc slave, & logic master so i can run tracks into logic
my problem
when i use midi clock it throws my musics flow off..
when i use midi time code the song sounds right but it starts at bar 002.03.00 instead of 001.01.00..

thanks in advance

Haven't had any problems.

Try checking the sync settings in Logic and make sure that the "sync offset" lines up with where you want the MPC to start. That could be why you're bar 1 isn't lined up.

Click on the little sync icon in your transport and then choose "Synchronization..."

You should see this window:

Just make sure that your Bar (1) plays at smpte(1:0:0:0.0) or wherever you want it to start.

what im trying to do is sample and sequence on the mpc. then midi up to logic (master) mpc (slave) record the audio 8tracks at a time and finish my projects..

whats happening is when i sync midi code or midi time code it throws the timing off on my mpc..

im using logic express 7.2, mpc2500 w/ jj os, macbook pro, m-audio project mix..

Have you tried syncing it the other way round? say using the mpc as master, arming the tracks in logic and hitting play.

Try checking that both logic and your MPC have the same settings, as in the same frame rate and are BOTH in using the same format... midi timecode or midi clock.
