im contemplating getting this (and the 8 outs for the 2kxl) and i wanna know if there are any problems with this unit beforehand.

any feedback would be appreciated.

edit.. the 10/10 doesnt come with pt? only comes with ableton?

actaully i heard good shit about it, pretty sure on this forum too

and you can buy M-Powered Pro-Tools so you can track out to Pro-Tools, or you can download it probably when you first get the soundcard

Word, I heard and read good things about the Delta 1010 as well, that's why I'm gonna cop that instead of a much more expensive ProTools interface :)

so than whats the difference b/w the 1010 lite and the 1010 rackmount, other than the $150.00 difference?

no clue honestly, i guess reading the differences between them might say something... but i doubt its anything big, its probably for people with laptops who cant install a new soundcard or something, since i heard that cannot be done

nah, i think both of them are specifically for desktops---pci cards.

the main difference is the 1010 rackmounts come with all 1/4" plugs on its breakout box while the 1010 lite only come with RCA plugs on its tangled messy cables

to me that makes it a huge difference, if you buy the rackmount, you don't have to buy TS-to-RCA cables :D
