The sort of things that Rohan is doing to the MPC3000 OS.

I vote for it on the MPC60.

I vote also. Rohan has said in the past there is a possibility for coding the 3.50 os for the 60. When or if that will happen, who knows?

I would definately fork out some $$$$ for a new 60 os...

Some things I'd love to see would be -
more quantise settings
no need to press "ENTER" and then "SOFT 1" when editing sounds/naming sounds.

But really, it's some of the little things that Rohan has done that would make life so nice - things like pressing "STOP" stops long samples, and staying in whatever screen you're working with when you press "START" would be great and would increase workflow.

I'm not gonna stop using my machine, but some of those things would be lovely. And a chopping function would rock my world!!!

I actually use that feature for some of my songs, when tracking out, press stop, let the sample ride then press play again and bring the drums in you know

forgive my ignorance (i don't track yet), but isn't that what the mixer function is in the OTHER menu?

also, newb question here: how do i lower the volume on tracks playing out either the headphone jack or the stereo outs? i don't have a mixer & monitors hooked up so i can't do it that way. i wanna mix everything within' the machine and i never used that mixer function in the OTHER menu but i've tried lowering the volume in the MAIN menu and i think there's also function in the SOUNDS > EDIT SOUNDS menu.

perhaps i just answered my own question here: i guess i could just change the velocity on that pad (which is pretty much read as "volume", right)?

i need to lower my hi-hat sounds and thin 'em out a bit. any help is much appreciated. sorry to thread-jack.

Just out of curiosity how many of you 60 users use the following:

- Foot Switch jacks
- Echo Send/Return
- Metronome Out
- Sync Out/In

I would kill to have a feature where you can play a sound before you load it so you know what it is before loading it up and all that.

yeah an audition would be soooo dope but I'm guessing if that was possible it would have been done on that 3K OS



for the dude about, go to drum mix man...and then read the manual or at least the FAQ at the top of the page you're missing out!

Yeah, being able to change the volume on the individual outs would be great.

Id love the extra features 3k is getting, but even if the new os doesn't get more new features, id like a more efficient version with all the bugs(known or unknown) taken care of, like the 3.16 for 3k. NEW OS PLEASE. I doubt gods going to answer me anytime soon

I just noticed, you cant layer via 'simult' mode in sounds-1 page if the pads are set to mono. This blows.
