How do I remove an entire program from the autoload folder so that I can replace it with a new program from a different folder? Do I have to delete the program and find all the individuals samples to delete them, or is there an easier way?

any time you write to flash memory, anything there is replaced.

I understand that it replaces it in the flash memory. But how does it replace it in the compact flash card memory? This is what I'm trying to get at.

turn on mpc, so the auto load folder gets loaded. delete the unwanted program, purge the now unused samples. format the cf card (providing there's nothing else on there that you want! if there is, just delete the autoload folder) save all programs and samples (and sequences) to cf card.
