Problem connecting with Reason

I want to use reason as a sound module with a Oxygen 8 going into my MPC. Ive watched a video on you tube on how to do it. On one of the first steps he goes into the prefrences menu in Reason then he goes to advaNCED MIDI Which givies you multiple bus sections to select midi devices, but the only Midi device recognized is the Oxygen 8. Please can someone help me I wanna get started playing on this keyboard and I know its possible to do with reason but I just cant seem to figure it out.

DO I need an audio interface is this why Reason isnt picking up my MPC?

how are you hearing reason? if you can't, then you need an audio interface. if you can, you already have one, though it may be a sh!tty one that came with the computer. as for the midi side of things, if you've got the oxygen 8 connected via usb, i don't think it'll work that way, you need a separate midi interface so that you can chain the oxygen8 and mpc together. you want to go:

Oxygen 8 -> MPC1000 -> MIDI interface on PC.
