Permanent tempo change via Q-Link

Hello all,

Today I got a MPC1000, as I'm selling my 2000xl (size), and bought JJ's OS.
Now I have something I don't understand:

One of the features I was looking forward to is the tempo change via Q-Link sliders (as I want to combine live drum-programming with a friend's live DJ-mixing)
Now, it works all pretty fine, but the tempo I'm adjusting via Q-Link jumps back to the original tempo when starting again from the first bar.

How do I make the Q-Link slider change the tempo permanently?

did u try recording the slider value into to the sequences?

if its on the fly stuf you may need the 'after' key held on to suppress it, but also i think somehow the value is reset on start/stop.

It's not the problem on start/stop, it's more that it suddenly changes tempo within the loop, when it's jumping back to bar 1..... and it's annoying, 'cause I want it to keep the tempo I'm setting via Q-Link.... and it has to work while the sequencer is rumming, I guess that's what you meant by "on the fly", didn't you?

Or, perhaps I'm explaining the work process:

This friend of mine is mixing with two CD-Players. While listening I get an idea, so I adjust the tempo roughly by Tap-Tempo. Now this is where I have to do some finetuning via Q-Link, in order to match the bpms exactly, to be able to intervent afterwards with the MPC in the mix.
But it's no use if I try finetuning, and the MPC keeps constantly jumping to the initial tempo value...

Does anyone know how to fix?

yeah it does that on mine, it must be a recent bug perhaps...i didnt notice that before.

I just got a mail from JJ.
It actually IS a bug and shall be corrected by the next version.
