Exchange tips and tricks for the Akai MPC4000

Hi, only got my MPC4K a couple of days ago...Have sussed most of the functions but wondering how to tune a sample while playing a sequence (so you can tune the sample to what you've already laid-down).

frist you have to set the q-link to the part
then placed the sample on the part that you have the q-link nob or fader set to with tunning as its operation. then walla

but first i would hit program then kg and at the top of the page on the right change monitor:program to multi so u can navigate and the sequence will continue to play.. then change back if need.

YEAH TRUE SHYT IM STILL NEW AT THIS THING i JUST FORND OUT THAT THE PAD AND PART MIXERS ARE FULLY AUTOMATED(sp) FROM FX NOBS TO PANNING NOBS TO THE FADERS JUST HIT RECORD AND GET IT CRAKIN....DAYUM!!!!

you don't have to use q-link

just use kgmix/pitch
