How To Have The Keyboard Play 2 Diff. Midi Snds On Same Seq

Probably a dumb question, but I've made some beats already on the keyboard but with the same snd.. Ex. Strings

So I have a Korg X50 w/MPC2000xl

I want to have like a bass on 1 track and strings on another track on the same sequence. Along with my drums that I loaded in the mpc.. How can I have different snds from the keyboard on the same sequence from the korg??

You want the MPC to trigger two sounds simultaneously on the Korg?

The Korg will have to be in Multi(Multitimbral) Mode.

I'm not familiar with the keyboard but I do know it's 16 part multimbral.
This means it can be essentially split into 16 Midi addressable instruments.

There should be away of assigning your Bass to one Midi channel and your strings to another. You then output the track data from the Mpc on the corresponding Midi output channel.

Find the X50 manual. It should explain it in detail there.

Exactly what I want to do..I'll look in the keyboard manual cause I was looking in the mpc manual, didn't find an answer there.
