has anybody hit one of these up looking for vinyl? there are 2 within a mile from my house im going to hit up. they listed vinyl, so im wondering if i should expect these cats to charge 100's of dollars, or some great deal. with my luck, it will be a bunch of burle ives or perry como.

ya youll get the records really cheap at those. I wouldnt except much from them, i went to a few before and they were practically giving them away for 5 bucks a crate, but it was all garbage like pre-1960's music to christmas records. i dont **** with either of those.

just got back. like i suspected, burle ives was in the house! but i picked up some stan getz and some kids stuff. they were selling ish for a buck a pop. i spent 30 bucks, for 30 albums. we'll have to see how they turn out.

but it was all garbage like pre-1960's music to christmas records. i dont **** with either of those.

If they listed "Vinyl" instead of "Records" in the Ad...
...either they'll be BS'n on the price...
...or they're selling ugly-@ss vinyl furniture.

But yeah, I been to a few, and it's mostly old string records.
But go :45 min. to when it's over, and offer them a dub for the whole sh!t...
...then go fill up your trunk. 8)

W/ these old old records you never know.

thats to late i would have bought them already....i usually pay about 20 for them all... i came across a good lot of jazz from the 40- 50's and some band music.
you got to be there earlie to get the deals cause there's vinylist that will buy it and turn around and sell at shows and they will make money.
dont waste time.

the good thing is that you can look at what your buyin first not like storage aucctions you just bid on what you see you cant go in and look.
