Just a note. While reading the Akai Manual, it states that:
Play: Poly so you can play notes simultaneously. Probably what you want to do.
Play Overlap= Poly for drum machine use
Play Overlap= Mono for phrase sample use
* in order for Play Overlap to work correctly Play: field is to be set to Poly mode.

Think of what the purpose of this thread is, obviously not trash talking.
Regardless how much of a guru you are on the MPC, if you keep trash talking, it's only gonna make you look like a fool, AND if you come here for advise, don't be lazy and read the forum/manual before asking ridiculous questions. Most of your answers are here.
