Akai has 1000 users in the habit of going "off the grid" for the OS, why would we choose the official product as opposed to the home-grown version which is just as good?

i think if its true. it would be very easy for akai to find out who of their employers/developers shares company-secrets with the customers.

But alas, the DA converters probably wont be great and thats what I dont like about the sound of MPCs post 3000.
She also informed me that there is already a pad fix for the 1000 ready, but wont be released until summer. Faulkers!
Oh well, I hope Nym's fix is ready before that because I dont want to give AKAI any more of my money.

Akai is gettin my fist and not a penny more. a$$holes.
Anyways I'm sure their design, if cheap, will be another short term fix. Considering what nym has been doing, his solution seems like something worth buyin.
Besides that, screw akai. After they pull crap like shit, they should get a fist for all of u. Same applies to sony and their v700 headphones. ****.
Anyways, Nym hurry and help us all in this forum, and akai gets nothin
which is what they deserve,
Ez

haha, i will be getting my 1k the end of march. because iv been doing all this research. at first i turned away from the 1k because of the pad problems. but Ant has given me the security that when my 4x4 does go bad. he will have a REAL set ready to go.
its actually nice to see someone taking action, on a literal term! there should be titanium and gold parts involved to make things shine just a bit more..
