i have a 2000 classic. i just got a cd rom drive for it. i have everything hooked up right but for some reason it wont register that the rom drive is connected to it now. earlier i tried to load up a cd full of sounds and the cd icon came up like it should. but it was acting the cd was blank. i have three different cd's with sounds on them and none of them would load. so now i went to try it again and the mpc is just keeps telling me to wait. then is says scsi not ready. then i move the data wheel and it goes away. but then it's frozen for a second and it wont do anything. then a few seconds later it says "wait" again. i dont know what's goin on. is this a problem with the cd rom drive or the cable or the mpc? for the record, i have a zip drive hooked up to it also and the mpc recognizes that just fine and it loads and saves normally every time. hopefully, someone can help. thanks
