best tracking software for mpc 60

I love my MPC60II

I love FL Studio (I know, I knw,...but it's great at what it does...)

However,..FL records to RAM, and isn't ideal for tracking drums etc from the MPC.

What do you guys use to track in the raw sound from your MPC? I'm keen to it all sync...a nightmare to set up in my experience...Midi Clock is not well supported any more, and I can't get a great sync with Adobe Audition (demo) or my version of Samplitude SE.

I know i'm going to get a chorus of 'Pro Tools Fool!'... but I was hoping for something fairly simple, just to capture the wav fiules so i can load them neatly into FL...

Madness?

I'd look into a free program called audacity, I dont know if stncs, but its a very simple editor for the best price around.
