Alright, I just got the LSR's in and let me tell you they are beautiful. The sad part is that I can't even test them out yet, as I don't even have a keyboard or drum machine, will in a month or so. Anyways down to the real question. When I was waiting for my monitors to arrive I decided to build some monitor stands which look really nice. I modeled them after the classic speaker stands on this page:

Now a concern I have is that the stand sways a little bit if I move the speaker side to side on the stand. Can someone suggest what I might be able to do to the stand to improve on the strength of the structure. I was thinking of putting a piece in the middle of the V shaped support to try and lock it, but I'm not sure what I can do. Any suggestions?
