When he first started the sequence , the bass he was using. Is that just one note sampled and spread autochramatic ?

cool vid.... does anyone know if those are stock sounds he is using? i got an asr-rack but only have a few nice stock sounds... so if those are stock sounds i would like to know where to get sounds like that.

nah i doubt it....i dont use the asr but duke said they were of wax...he says it clearly when playing the horns.

Im wondering the same thing as some other people. Is he just using autochromatic on on those sounds or are they all seperate samples?

Im sure someone here that uses the asr knows.

Jake One is one of the rawest producers out there. He's worked with damn near every noteable indie act on the west coast, from Planet Asia and Cali Agents, guys from Heiro like Casual and Encore, to De La Soul, etc.

Yeah homies got skills, I mean he came up with Mr. Supreme as kind of a mentor, So hes def up on his digging.

Those horn sounds are not stock, I think homies got more respect than that. my guess is its auto chromatic cause i think you can here the pitching artifacts a bit, but I'm not sure if the ASR alows this.

that was some real sh*t right there thanks bro. He be droppin some knowledge too when he said `why go out by another piece of gear when you don't how to use the sh*t u got already.` Dude is a prime example of either you got it or you don't.

It'd be nice to have enuff scrilla to buy a 400 dollar record tho
