MPC-2500 Static? Slider replacement

I just got my MPC-2500 used and I noticed that one in a while I get a static sound I do have the unit connected with spdif to a delta 1010 but as soon as I turn it off and turn it off then seq away it goes away? Is this a bug or what ? Also just noticed the slider is gone! Looking for replacements any help is appreciated

I get the same thing pretty often>>>along with every now and then the everything moves to one channel thing >>>> and when in trim mode adjusting start and end points it kinda bugs out when hitting the pads to audition.... oh well i still love it...

guess what my mpc does the same thing .i thought that it was my mixer but its brand new ..im thinking about sending it back

My 2500 has some static pops sometimes, but then it goes away for a few days. It has shown up on recordings too, so what it is up Akai???

The 2500 has been around for nearly 2 years this summer, still Akai lets these units through the door with issues.

I'm just glad i have an extended warranty.
