i never used simult seq before, and i just tried it, is it supposed to have a different simult seq available for every different sequence...so whenever i change through the main sequences - the ss: sequence remains the same.

i was hoping that i could then assign a different ss:seq to the new main sequence.

it seems less useful as a result. : (

My issue w/simult sequence is not having independant mutes per-sequence. I like being able to mute stuff on playback(not into recording track mutes) and ss makes that pretty much impossible(unless I was to make each sequence on different sets of tracks, which I've thought about doing, haven't tried it yet).

Seems like it would be a useful tool for track segues, haven't quite found how to use it for that, yet.

one way i've used it is making a bunch of different 2 bar drum patterns, and play those under a longer 8 bar melody, switching the drums over the constant melody live. good fun.
a more subtle use is using the level field to mix various sequence in and out from one another. Now that I think about it, it would be kinda cool to be able to assign a qLink to the ss Level.
It would also be cool to be able to contol the ss field in the song mode, but I don't really get to song mode too often, so for all I know you can already do that.:)
