I have my mpc2500 plugged into my audio interface from analogue outs 1-8 and the masters all connected by balanced leads. The input on the audio interface are all set at +4db (alternative being -10db for consumer products).
Now when I route anything to an analogue out (which is not effected by the Main Volume knob) which is a normalised sound with mpc mixer channel turned up to max it's red lights ahoy all over the audio interface...this is the case until my master level is down to -18db.
So I'm just wandering what settings everyone else are using?
Also, am I correct is assuming that to get the same level out from the master as the analogue I turn the master up to max? That's certainly how it sounds to me.
