I love the new feature: CC events on sliders!

I think this is one of the best additions of the JJ OS, with the sliders sending CCs i've regained full control over my cd3000xl sampler and I'm back to full expressiveness. Thanks JJ, this was one of my most wanted features.

co-sign, along with samplers or any midi devices the CC on sliders is a great help. it also improves the worflow with other unit.

then i would like to know if it possible for JJ to had : NRPN and RPN midi control. such unit like the ASR X can works witht those specific midi messages.

you can assign a midi CC to a q slider to record to the sequence and to output CCs to external midi equipment. you can also set a min-max range.

Yes, I find this feature a godsend, esp. since I somehow screwed up my SH-32 and the amp control faders are shot, so I can control them again!

It's important to know what it is and does exactly, so I know what I am talking about... you see I am still working on the manual, so I gotta soak all the infos in, to keep it tight

CCs are MIDI Continuous Controllers. theyre values transmitted over MIDI that range from 1-127 and can be used to remotely tweak synths or effects boxes or just about anything really. the only drawback is the resolution of 127. so now for instance, i can control my synth's cutoff or my reverb's dry/wet mix from the mpc.

I'm using the q link sliders to automate plug ins and faders in Ableton Live just like a dedicated midi controller.
I just had to set up in Live's preferences the midi in where the MPC is connected to be recognised as a remote controller device, then on the MPC assign the q links to different CCs. Do a midi learn on the software and away you go!
This should work for any midi controllable software sequencer I reckon.

Adding CC controls (which was previously only available on the MPC 4000) is great. It's even better when you have more robust sliders and knobs like the MPC 4000/2500.
