How do folks use their MPCs in live music performances? Just curious.

Be blessed!

ive never done it. but when i do....... I will probably make beats live in front of an audience. Or just mess around with a drum track playing and freak the melody live. How about playing a drum track live (i know you do that in your lab, flowers around) and having a live guitarist and live bass player killin it??? that would be hot.

I do that to develop better timing. My roomate plays guitar and we just jam out all day. I rock the pads and the synth and the decks and the bass... shit all he does is play the guitar.

i can feel that! sometimes you got to take a little break from actually making beats, and just have some fun.

Its been hard lately. Cant seem to get focused on makin beats. Im goin through a rough break up and I just cant get back on track. I just load breaks into my MPC cut em up and replay em different and am learning how to tighten up my timing. And scratch all day long. But as for doing anything real, I just aint feelin it. Just been to lazy and not motivated. Ah well.

Thanks for the initially responses. I must say, however, as a woman, I take offense at the way you refer to women. It sounds like you all were having a conversation off the original topic. I'm sure other women and men read this sight and don't appreciate the way you refer to women. Women are also made in the image of God - please show us respect.
