Files not found?

Sometimes i save programs, and then when i try to load them, it says "files not found". why does this happen, and how do i get those progams and samples back?

save programs & sounds,

Replace same sounds on disk usually to on.

make sure the sample names have no spaces in em too

when you get the error message, just load the file again. eventually it should load up fine. it sucks that it's like that but it's all we can do for now.

I recently imported the Alesis HR-16 drum samples that are available at Hollow sun. all samples were loaded into my flash card, but their full name aren't shown in mpc1k screen. some kick samples had long and similar names and couldn't be seen at all. by shortening them down with new names in my PC and then repload them into my mpc1k, they could then be seen. I suspect that mpc1k cut the names down to fit them into it's screen, and creates the problem on the way. an example: "fat hard rock drums snare1, snare2 and bass drum1" will probably all be chopped down to "fat hard rock" and then confuse the mpc1k...
