Help Me Find A 3000!

What's good people,

I'm wondering if any of you 60/3000 heads know of any reputable spots where I might find a 3000. I'm trying to avoid ebay and private sellers. Any used retailers out there you can point me towards? Thanks

why? just curious. is it because their prices are high or is it because of their service or something?

prices mainly , but i have heard of people also having problems with them. Also they are in another country which in my opinion is another reason to stay clear.

I buy lots of gear from other countries, works out fine for me, just have to factor in shipping and customs duties/taxes that you will be charged when it arrives in your country. The cost of returning equipment to the seller if there are problems might also be an issue.

Try to buy one60 from ebay,i bought one 6 month ago from UK about 700 GBP,really nice and it look as new..So my opinion is-try ebay!All the best in looking fot your baby!

It's all in opinion , just saying personally i would stay away from buying used equipment from another country. Especially just for shipping , ups usps or any carrier for that matter doesnt handle packages very well. Maybe if i lived in a place that was nearly impossible to acuire a mpc , but living in the states and in CA for that matter there is no reason to go to japan for some equip.

Just for shipping: USPS handles anything badly. True, like any other shipper actually. To make sure an order arrives in one piece and not as parts, we pack all items as if they had to be dropped from high altitude, or close: bublle pack until you can t feel the unit, or cannot see it. double thick cardboard. We never had item damaged so far..

Reason to buy from Japan: I will never repeat it again...but here I go again: japanese are a bit on the anal side and it is hard to find stuff in the same condition as in the US or Europe, or Australia, or other parts of Asia. These guys are so carefull I sometimes wonder if they really make music at all....the manuals are very worn out, but then we ship all items with a NEW english manual, so you don't get your precious fingers dirty

You can buy from ebay but check out the buyers rating thoroughally before making a purchase and also take out the optional insurance and if it's a company: enquire about their returns terms & conditions in case the goods get damaged in transit.

Try www.gearorphanage.com. I bought my 3000LE from there not too long ago. There is a 3000 up there right now.

analogjapan is great - I seriously doubt they've cheated anyone.

I understand that most people are not too keen on sending money abroad, so, from now on, we suggest that clients use an escrow service like escrow.com to transact with us. It costs the buyer 0 $ and and allow him to check the gear before having the money released to us.

You want super clean gear ? then there is only Japan for that, the land of the million dollar studio being used at the week-end and maybe in the evenings if its owner, usually working loooooooooong hours in a company has any time at all to play. They even keep the boxes for stuff bought ten years before.
