New Here... Quick questions

If I buy a from the store do I need to get updates or update the OS and also what does it take to burn cds direct from the 2500. Thanks for any help sorry if these are dumb questions

You don´t need to update the OS in the beginning.

I work with the the newest OS from Akai, it made some things easier (Grid Edit, or i.e. now you can jump to the start while playing a loop when you press PLAYSTART, recording TrackMutes), but also brought problems. Especially concerning saving my projects...

The internal CD drive is cool, but you´ll have to update, if you want to burn with it. If not, it´s very easy to transfer your tracks, after having re-recorded them (midi to wav.), to your computer, and burn them there.

I doubt you have less problems with the oldest OS.

thanks for the info. just got everything up and running but when Im recording I hear a constant clicking sound anyone know what the cause could be.
