2500 and 1000 similarities

I have a 1000, and i'm thinking about getting a 2500 sometime. can any one who has used both of these compare how the 1000 and 2500 features are similar. and is there a difference in the pads. preciate it.

im in the same situation lookin for the same answers.

looking in from the outside they seem almost identical with a few different things, more outputs on the 2500 the chopshop and grid edit (chop shop looks awesome) and i hear the pads are the "real" mpc pads, that unfortunately ive never enjoyed because i have a 1000
