HELP WITH SAMPLING

I JUST PURCHASED THE MPC-500 AND IM TRYING TO FIRGURE OUT HOW TO TRANSFER THE WAVE FORM SAMPLE VIA USB TO THE MPC.IVE DRAGGED IT AND SEND IT TO THE FLASH CARD BUT CANT SEEM TO LOAD IT.DO I NEED A PROGRAM?OR CAN IT BE DONE DIRECTLY.ID RATHER DO IT DIRECTLY,IF IT CAN BE DONE DIRECTLY,WHATS THE PROCESS?IF NOT WHATS THE BEST PROGRAM TO USE?

Did you format the CF card?? The manual will tell you how to format the card if you haven't done so.

If the mpc is not recognizing the samples on the CF card the card is not formated to the mpc. Thus he will have to format the card.

Regarding programs,you can use Blue Box. A search of the forums will bring up more info.

Your MPC 500 acts like a really expensive Card Reader ... your Card should have can already formatted. But you need to turn your MPC to USB mode ... press Mode>Load or save>scoll to USB ... if it is connected to your computer is will auto into saying "Connected" simple. enjoy
