Hi Guys.
I'm looking for a cd player that will allow me to sample from it.
So ideally it would come with line output - and it should also be easy to browse to any point on the cd...
Is there any such thing?

Doesn't every CD player have a line output?

yeah, any player will do. Im guessing you meant that you want the 1/4 outputs right? All you need a cable.

It should have an easy way of finding the point on the track you want to sample. I don't want to listen through the entire track to get to the point.

-you know what i mean?

Lotsa DJ oriented players will do what you want.
I have the Numark CDN15. It has a 2½ inch wheel on the front with which you can scrub through the track at whatever speed you want, forwards or backwards, while hearing the audio.

I don't think they make it anymore but there are plenty similar (and maybe better) units that work similarly.

Yeah^^^^^

Any CD player will do but the DJ ones are the best. It's expensive but a mate has the old denon S3000 and it's just like using vinyl, you can scratch, rewind and everything using the platter on the top!
