so all sequencing is done in mpc, right?

midikeyboard midi-out to mpc midi-in.
mpc midi-out to adiophile midi-in.

The MPC's USB port is only for file exchange with the PC. You can't connect an USB MIDI port to that.

so in other words....although i can hear what I'm playing and controlling on the computer with the keyboard via usb

i need the keyboard out into the mpc and the mpc out into my audio interface?

and an a/c plug to power the keyboard...or will the power the usb is providing work? or both? lol

if sombody could help me out with this it would be appreciated

If you are just using your mpc as a sequencer:

keyboard midi out to mpc midi in
mpc midi out to pc midi in

as for the power to the keyboard it depends on your keyboard. some midi controllers require additional power via a power adapter or batteries.
