Refills for JJ OS

wouldn't it be wonderfull if the MPC would support reason refills which you could store on your harddrive?
it seems to me it only would be a software modication... can anyone confirm this?

a lot more than a simple software modification :

refills are encoded and encrypted (propellerhead patent), need to be decoded so i guess it will be cpu time consumming.

plus it will required the proper licence, this has a cost !

there were a little utility few year ago, which was around it permeit to export refills to wav in a batch, wonder if it is legal....

also dont forget that the mpc is still a sampler after all

i should have my new 1000 in my hands today, cant wait to have it again but cant wait even more that i can finally try the beloved JJ OS

You could get the refill unpacker and unpack your refills. Its not an official tool. so you 'll have to google it.

all jokes aside, the refill unpacker is dope. i've been sleepin' on that again for a minute, and there's a few drum kits i wanna grab.

install VMware Fusion (beta) for OSX which allows you to install a virtual machine in the free space on yr hard drive... install windows, do your PC work there... take about 4-6 gigs i think

idea! I don't think the reason version I have is for pc though.

just thought a real pc would be worth the hassle more than installing all that crap on your mac...

up your game, get AWAVE and convert to PGM for the 1000. simple.
