Hey peeeps

Ive just grabbed the latest jj os (4.44) and put it in my mpc, everything seems fine (although I haven`t had time to give it a proper grilling), but whats happening is. In song mode, while its playing I press a pad and rather than playing the sample assigned it mutes the main sample. this happens when I press any of the 16 pads. Anyone else got this problem?

not a problem with JJ OS, but a problem with your polyphony settings

Change the program to POLY or put your other samples in a different program and track altogether from the main sample.

Maybe?

Unless you've just got a weird bug or something

Thanks for the reply man but its not that.
Its the exact same song I loaded up before with the last os and I didn`t have this problem then...

yeah i dunno then. I pretty much figured it wasn't polyphony though once I saw that you've been a member here since 2004 haha - anyone who's been here that long would know about something as basic as that

is it only for that one particular song you load up or is it doing it all the time?

Report it to JJ...

Then he(or they) will take care of it quickly...

If you send him the actual file (such as .ALL files...etc) to him, It'll be much easier for him to fix.

I once sent him the .ALL file with bug description... and he fixed it in a single day and updated a new OS.

He even sent me a reply, explaining the cause of the bug.

Report it here : http://64.233.179.104/translate_c?hl=en&u=http://www7a.biglobe.ne.jp/~mpc1000/1000report.htm&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dmpc1000%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D

If you need his E-mail, It's : [email protected]

seung that's a good idea, i have wondered about that before.
glad to know that it's a viable option - i bet that's how the whole step edit move bug got fixed - remember that one? if you do move in step edit it "Breaks" the sequence data and even if you save it still loads broken.

Thanks for the info. I did actually report it on the site but didn`t include the .all file. I may give that a blast
