Whats up everyone? ATLANTA IN THE HOUSE//// I love those MPC's and Im getting a 2000XL for my birthday this Friday (18). But I figured I'd go ahead and try to make myself at home and do a little research before I get it so I can just hop on it and go to town. Also I don't want to be asking stupid questions like some people who don't read the manual. Ya thats it but I'll probally be on here in a couple of days once I get stuck.

Peace

Halauya Hola back. lol

Yes thanks guys everyone seems really nice here. but hey what do you expect we are all musicians. Ya im actually in Chapter 6 of the manual I started it a couple of days ago I might cop that tutorial tho, if enough people suggest it.

Also quick question I am burning all my sounds and samples as we speak. I have over 6gb of samples/sounds and I was wondering when I hook a cd reader up to my MPC is it going to be able to read it like a directory? I mean or will I need to have no folders on each cd just wav. files? Also how is the sound quality for that or is there an easier alternative?

Nice, my first MPC 1000 is coming in thursday morning. I'm excited as hell. I'm actually reading through the manual for the SECOND time now lol. I'm trying my best to keep from being one of the billion people on the site that comes with questions that are clearly answerd in the manual itself.

it should be able to read it like a directory.
its digital so there should be no loss in quality.
