BURNING TRACKS

I arranged my tracks in song mode with 2 blank bars at the beginning and at the end, re-recorded them to mainOut, saved as sample to a seperate folder, transfered it to my computer via usb and finally burned them.

My PROBLEM: at the very beginning, only on the left speaker, there´s a very hi-frequent short noise/pop.

I had the same problem when I burned my tracks with the internal CDdrive of my 2500.

Please help me, I need to finish that DEMO soon!!!!!

ps.: I LOVE MY MPC, and will never make a beat with REASON again

Why not just cut a second off at the beginning in Trim Mode? You have plenty of space anyway with two empty bars.

Stilo. I already did this with Cool Edit. But I wonder why the sample isn´t at the zero point in trim mode anyways, after I re-recorded it to MainOut....´I had this pop with adjusting it to 0 (I started recording at 2.03.01) AND with leaving it where it was after recording..
Maybe you have an idea.
I will try it in the Zoom window...

ps.:do you think Cool Edit will change the sound character of MPC beats?

I assume it's a bug that the MPC adds a short noise at the beginning when resampling.

As for the sound...as long as you only edit the WAV file which you saved on the MPC, it doesn't change anything in the sound character. Only as soon as you change sampling rate, bit rate, or add any compression, filters, effects etc. it will change the sound.
