The more I work on the 3000 the more i like it, although ill be honest i dont know how to use it well yet. The 2500 would came up second only because in about 3 years it'll probably seem like 2000 classic (nobody wants it) but thats just my opnion.

my favorite MPC is the 2000XL but if i gotta keep one for the rest of my life, i'd take the 2500

Looks like the MPC 2500 is in the lead!!! This is my next purchase, Guitar Center had it on sale for a week at $1299 brand new. I'm looking for a deal like this or better...

I just got the 2500!!! I found it for $1100 brand new. This machine is incredible, and I love the button layout and feel too. This is also a HUGE upgrade from the 1000's pads... I love this machine!
