I know this should be a given, but are you saving ENTIRE MEMORY when you save???

Hi T.

I loaded up some samples, made a quick loop assigned one of the PADs flying pan effect, changed the sweep rate to 5 from default and saved, Samples n Progs, then All Seqs and then Entire Mem like Upright said.
And I have been able to retrieve the effects exactly as they were when I saved them.

Do you wanna give me the exact steps you went through and we maybe able to narrow it daan a bit geez.

u need to save the stuff as '.ALL' file, this saves all the seq's, and the fx sets....then when this file is reloaded, the seq's are good, and all the fx are still there. i personally prefer this option to save entire memory, cos sometimes theres a few samples/progs i dont need....and they get saved if u do the 'entire' option......

but dont forget to save tha progs/samples too, cos the '.ALL' file doesnt contain anything but seq/fx data.

I've never changed my OS...I mean I still use the original one, wich comes with a MPC since I bought It... I'm quite happy with my OS,but as far as I can see,new OS might change a lot of things positivly... So ,should I get another OS or not? cos some people say YEs some of them say no...
