Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

my sound when i sample sounds horrible. it starts off clear then it starts to echo and sound bad. im new to this what can i do?

You may want to include a little more information here? What signal path are you using, etc. Also, I'm sure if you use the Search above, you may get some key insight into your cause.

Do a search first.

im sampling out of my comp. and using mono. i messed around with the jacks and im getting a better sound when i have the jack half out.

i think it's because you're using a stereo cable not a mono

where can i get a mono cable?

do you happen to have the mpc outs hooked back tot he PC audio card by chance?? if so that could also be why your getting that echo.

that or get mono cables from the music shop man, they have one sleeve ring not 2.
