MPC AND CUBASE ??

HI i have hooked up my mpc to cubase and its cool but like say my sample kinda echoes and instead of exaclty 4 bars its like 4.5 but when i record on cubase then i copy the track on the cubase sequencer instead of playing it out it just loops again to the start point, i guess im trying to say i want to record in cubase but why does it cut the sound off at the end of the bar instead of let it finish cuase it sounds bad ok let me know if you have an idea, maybe a cubase setting to let it play the full part thanks..

Reset the sampled bar length to 4.5 or 5(to get what you want sampled) then cut past the sample on two tracks alternating at the start of
each bar to overlap. Or find a way to overlap on one track?(merge/combine?)

Make sure you turn off the loop and just let'em play.
