High.
Just payed for and installed the new os, 4.44 on my mpc 1000. havin a few problems with recording. I initially had 3.06 and when recording analog in had well over a minute to record, now with new os i can only record for 38s, and cant really edit any of my samples cause of insufficient memory. is this a bug with new os??? it seems like a lot of memory too use just for an os, i only have 16mb... cheers

i just got he OS and i havent had any problems. i would reinstall the OS, or the problem might be too many samples loaded to begin with.

Yeah thought bout that, but i clear the entire memory every time i start on a new sample. i'm only running the factory supplied 16mb ram so maybe i need more????

the last few versions of the jjos have allowed you to record 300,000 notes, rather than the stock 100,000. that is where the extra memory is needed. buy the ram upgrade. there's a sticky in the 1000 forum that should tell you what you need.

hope this helps.
