MIDI in CC ==> Q-LINK.

i've seen this future feature on JJ's website. it will be one of the most amazing new feature to me.
i think it would be nice to speak in that thread about owers opinions, and ideas.
later, we 'll can share our templates for our midi controllers (i think thet behringer bcr and bcf 2000 models will arrive pretty soon ):D

i hope this feature will arrive as soon as possible, this will be amazing (like the 99 programs) and i'll can work work ine differents way for my live sets.

i'm losing my mind over how awesome that will be.
i just ordered a midisense.
i'm gonna use 2 pressure sensors for aftertouch, one for filter the other for resonance. and hopefully, when/if jj codes it, one for LFO depth, the other for LFO rate.

i'm also gonna use a couple nice quality sliders/knobs AND if possible a sharp infrared distance sensor to use as a midi theremin for tune/level expression.

i cannot WAIT for this feature. it will allow my mpc to become modular, since i intend to make my midisense in a number of different compartments, including altoid tins for the sliders and burts bees tins for the pressure sensors:



will be truly amazing.

i 'am thinking about trigging with some of my reaktor's/max/msp patches

explain more please because i'm unfamiliar with both reaktor and maxmsp.

they're programming software, reaktor is from Native Instrument
and
Max is from Ircam, cycling74 implmented the audio face (msp).

you can program or modify quite easily what you want

the boths softwares are used a lot to create instruments, effects etc... what you want .

some artiists that use it :
radiohead, massive attack, squarepusher, antipop consortium, prefuse 73 etc...

i m planning to create alghorythmic music, and the modular way that comes from midi in will be a lot of new possibilities, experiment

i'm interested in the waveidea-bitstream controller to...

that max/msp shiz is totally fvckin crazy!

i have never NEVER encountered software like that before...

that's not sayin much - but it is really powerful when deciphered.
(i found it insanely complex initially)

i still havent had the chance to read up entirely on the midisense.
didn't know about the limitations. but i'll look into it and see what's up. there may be other DIY alternatives that i havent looked into.
my first midi controller was a keyfax Phatboy, which was very small and had 12-13 knobs. i used it for rebirth back in 1998. I'm sure theres more compact solutions out there for a portable controller that may be more suitable for the 1k.

ada will be releasing an updated kit/pcb board for the next version of midisense which will be able to run a lot more.
