I've been having the hardest time trying to figure how to get an ill snare roll going. I'm not just talking about holding down note repeat at 1/16 b/c anyone can do that, but something along the lines of how "And Then What" by Young Jeezy starts out. I guess you could call it the dirty south type of drum roll. Can someone drop some science for me?

hey bro
I have not heard that jeezy song but check out the thread "everybody gather round" there may be other words in the title of the thread but fools break down how to make breakdowns and other types of ish. You should peep the post I believe "breakdown is in the title of the exact post as I recall. Hopefully that helps. Im assuming the breakdown is the type of roll you are talking about. if not still peep that thread it is full of jewels
