My lcd has been fading for some time now. What I do is turn the tint all the way down, when I am not looking at the screen.

I've had my current xl for about 3 years now - my lcd burned out on me last week and the sh*t is killing me! :x

I had to resort to my ASR10 in the meantime for sequencing.

Mrfaia - what does replacing the backlight of the lcd entail? Is the part you're talking about the actual backlight within the screen casing or the whole sceen casing piece itself?

It's definitely killing me bro' - the ASR10 sequencer doesn't compare but has it's "workarounds".

MPC seq + ASR10 sampler = murder.

I NEED TO FIX MY LCD BACKLIGHT!

mann if you really have to come back to a song, save the .all file (all sequences and songs) and if you changed anything about the program your using, save that too. You can turn the mpc off, just dont change the instruments the midi channels are set to and you should be strait. thats how i do it.

DO NOT LEAVE THE MPC ON ALL THE TIME. The screen gets crazy hot and you will have the backlight dead real fast that way
