Vinyl vs CDs

NO THEY DONT unless your gettin wav files, mp3 loses quality of sound they can never compare to VINYL

since i started as a dj, cueing vinyl is so much easier, and hold the sample at your fingertip. i like to pitch the record up 45+8, so thats a plus too. because of that i rarely sample 45s anymore. unless i get a deck that can play at 78 rpm. on a related note, how many people stick to original pressings only? i have a few reissues and compilations, but they sound so shiity, i cant bring myself to sample them. i know many people dont care about sound quality, but it matters to me.

i try to keep it to OG only but , but somethimes you cant do that , i have some reissues and i have comps, i like comps for djin cause evrythign you need is right there and i use my comps all the time(all old ass comps too :ktel ,rinco,paul wisely,UBB,star and mmore)

I dont have a problem with cds except that you cant drop a needle on them where ever you see a break.

Mp3's is a no no. Thats compressed audio, do you know how they compress audio? I'm not certain myself, but I know that they cut out frequencies, which is not cool.

Thats my whole reason for sampling vinyl though are those harmonic frequencies, thats where the color and flavor of the recording are. You dont get that with cds or mp3

Vhs is the ish to, its cheap, and a good source for sounds.
