Just bought a Zip drive on Ebay but can't get it to work

I keep getting the message "scsi conlfict on id #6". Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Can someone guide me through the settings I should have on the Zip drive and which port I should be using?

There are two switches on the back.
Set the SCSI ID to 5
and if you just have the zip drive on its own, set the termination to ON
Plug your SCSI cable into the port marked ZIP

You should be good to go then.

I did what you said and it is getting a response but it says "scsi not ready"...

This is weird; my MPC can load programs and sounds but not sequences... I'm thinking something is wrong with this Zip drive.
