MPC2000 and Pro-Tools

I just installed a Digi 001 Setup on my PC and I cannot figure out how to record my MPC into Pro-Tools using the analog outs. I did a search but all I can find at the moment is how to sync in MIDI... I'm comparing it to the manual and it seems like I should be doing this (there is a diagram that has a synth in the analog inputs and in MIDI on the Digi) but I am not completely sure if i should do this. Can some either some instruction or a link on the forums that can help me.

I have never used Pro-Tools before. I have used Logic Express, Cubase and Adobe Audition/ Cool Edit Pro. I just don't know how to record my beats from MPC to PT

MPC Stereo out To Stereo in 001. Press record in PT...Press play on thaMP. Real simple

I want to utilize my 8 out board though so I can get my beats into PT faster...

I got it tracked out properly... the manual didn't really go into detail how to use the mixer setting on the MPC... all i need is to sync it...

press shift and #9 on your mpc. Go to Protools and click on midi. You'll get it. Trust me.

yeah i see the sync options... I need to go out and get some MIDI cables...
