Is there a way to stop playing a long ass sample after you tap the pad while its in Mono or Poly mode ? Or do I have to switch it to Note off ?

Thanks

Here's the trick: set up an empty pad (no sound on it) so it mutes the other when its played. So the sound you want is on pad A1 (it plays note 35) set up pad A5 to mute note 35. Then when you want to mute A1, just hit A5 (be sure to not put any sounds on A5 though).

if you dont want to do that, then you have to set it for note on/off.

You get to mute by pressing open window on where it says POLY, MONO, and NOTE OFF in programs under params. The thing is that you have to put a sound on the pad to make it be able to mute. I just put a sound and goto the mixer and lower all the volume of the pad I want as the controller.

if you hit a pad and the sample is long as hell and you want it to turn off, push SHIFT and TRIM (at the same time)...it will take you to the TRIM SCREEN and turn the sample off instantly.

Found that out by accident.
