i can't really understand why you want thoses resolutions feature (the mpc1000 is a sampler isn't it?)
8bit or 12bit can be done easily with a computer and then import your samples in the mpc 1000.

i would really prefer midi CC in>>>q link.
it would be ama

this was one of the few things keeping me from switching from FL to the MPC so long ago... wow. The MPC is probably the sequencer/sampler ever now. this put it over the edge..

come on JJ make usb audio interface working on the mpc 1000 for multitrack recording (i'm kidding...)

if I could be more independent from the computer the better for me...

i was wondering if with this feature if I could do something kindof like time warping. Something like in live, lets say you see a kick come in a little late, you could pull the bar tab to match where it comes in.
thanks

seems unlikely that the mpc is powerful enough for realitime timestretching stuff.

realtime is probably off limits
but you could use that same principle as an offline, destructive timestretching editor...i salivate at the possibility.

Damn....I am starting to run out of things to talk sh!t about regarding JJ.

Who knows what is still possible with this OS. Not too long ago, Real time-pitch control was thought to be too much for these MPCs. In most software applications, Realtime timestretching and real time pitch control go hand-in-hand. I wouldn't be suprised at all if this feature is added in the future.

The graphic display of audio tracks has peaked my interest, but it still takes a little more to impress me personally since the MPC already has graphic waveform editiing of samples. Now if the MPC has basic audio track editing like DAWs...that would really impress me. Features such as copy, paste, move, cut/slice, erase/delete, crossfades, insert effects/dynamics, undo/redo, resizing, muting, cycle recording, etc., etc.,....Ok, maybe I am losing my mind

now if only you^(jahrome) could put fourth some sort of list of ideas to have put into the OS, it might happen with JJ's plans and ideas...

id love to see all of those things on the OS...and quite frankly i think he's able to achieve all of those things IN TIME...honestly in a yr from now it would be 3 times better then it is now...

i think effects...and the ideas you've listed, ontop of whats to come and what can unfold with in what he's working on now, can rapidly multiply into other sections of the OS...so there's alot of room to improve and develop...it's just time, effort, HELP and ideas...testing, testing, testing...and adding...(repeat 2,000,000 times) haha...it can happen with help though...and im in to that aslong as it keeps coming...

Heh... why does hearing Jahrome say that make me feel so warm inside? Has the mighty JJ actually humbled the stongly-opinionated Jahrome? I never thought I'd see the day!!

btw... props go to Jah on the new less-confrontational attitude... you turned over a new leaf for sure man. I noticed you toned it down man... good job... a lot less drama lately. Nice job.
