i thought stereo chopping was available in the free JJ OS..

is it only available in the paid version?

i just wanna convert my chops to a new program and have the chops be in STEREO not mono.

No, unfortunately not. The Akai OS converts all the chops into mono slices. The only workaround is to manually extract them one by one, create a new program and assign each slice to a pad

yep, my business partner was surprised I paid $30 for the the OS upgrade...

HELLO!!! it is an upgrade that is above and beyond the Akai OS... plus you get to save your files without a hitch and more...

First off, the JJ OS is an Akai OS - It's become far too obvious that Akai are involved in this, testing the waters to see how many will buy the OS.

As for 'Free upgrades for life', i would not hold many hopes. Many software companies go down the tubes when things go bad. We have no certainty how long the JJ OS will run.

Then again it's an Akai OS that you pay for, so we probably don't need to worry

BTW, i have come across some talk on the full JJ OS as a 'free' download, that someone uploaded. That should be fun, and the registered user gets a free update that he then passes onto others on his link.

NO i don't have it in writing but $30 is nothing compared of everything else in a studio and winging about 30 dollars is cheap
