ok got another question, i got some zips, if i get a 60 with Scsi, i can only add 1.5mb of samples??

or is there a diffrent rule about that???

lets say i have a sample on the mpc, and i have drums and bass on a zip/floppy, does its interface with the sample i already got on the 60, im talking about the Space/memorey.

instead of getting a zip drive, get an internal card reader for your 60. to find out more use the search function and make sure you search in the mpc 60 , 3k forum.

to use a sound it must be either sampled into RAM or loaded from floppy or zip disk or some other scsi device into RAM... the MPC60 has 1.5mb of RAM if its RAM is fully expanded... ALL SAMPLERS ARE RAM BASED... the amount of RAM is the amount of sound/sequence data possible at any given time... on the 60, 1.5mb is more than sufficient to get creative with...

have fun...
