Hey everyone, I'm new here. I searched for this question - it seems like a big enough deal to have been discussed before - but none of the search terms I could think of came up with anything relevant. The question is:
Which drums do you suggest assigning to which pads? Obviously it's largely a matter of personal preference, and I can predict some "whatever feels good dude" responses...but is there anything in particular to avoid? Any setups that lend themselves to live playing particularly? Something for a good balance of sounds without having to switch pads?
I'm starting to make programs and build up a sample library, so I want to be able to give my pad assignment some kind of method/consistency. Thanks for the help.
