Quite simple but yet i cant figure....

Hey peeps,

Basically quite simple ive recorded say 5 seconds of a sample into the mp and just want to put certain parts of the sample of different pads. How do i do this... ive gone through this manual (http://www7a.biglobe.ne.jp/~mpc1000/manual444.htm) but cant seem to see anything that does that feature...

I am thinking you are wanting to chop your sample. just search that feature, but you can access it via mode + trim...

yeah i know how to chop but what do i do from there??

umm... once it is chopped, then go to your program mode and load up the chopped waves...

yo, what os u suing first?

if u wanna chop it up in jjos, say 4.44b, mode+trim, 'F5'=chop, then choose 'F6'=edit, then 'F2'-sliced samples, 'do it', and - i think (i'm not at my mpc so might be fuzzy on this) - it will create a pgm with the slices all set up.

True... JJOS is the way 2 go...

When you do your chop, it gives you the option to create a new program using the chopped samples.
